We review the current implementation first
The same request can require very different work on two WordPress sites. The answer depends on the theme, page builder, plugins, PHP version, and how previous changes were implemented.
Before estimating, we identify where the relevant page or function is generated, whether supported extension points are available, which other templates or data may be affected, and whether staging and a backup are needed.
After the review, we explain what can be kept, the limitations we found, the proposed implementation, and the expected hours.
Theme and template customization
We can modify a suitable commercial theme, child theme, or custom templates. The work may include new page types and blocks, changes to existing components, and mobile layout corrections.
We work from supplied designs, references, or an agreed prototype. Full custom UI/UX design is not standard, although a specialist designer can be engaged separately.
We do not promise compatibility with every theme or page builder before inspection. Some products are difficult to extend, and a requested change may cost more than rebuilding the affected area. In that case, we explain the available options before development begins.
Plugin customization and development
When an existing plugin lacks a feature, we first review its documentation, source code, and extension points. If the architecture allows it, the behavior can be added without editing the original plugin files.
We can also modify a custom plugin after reviewing its source code and connections to the rest of the website.
We cannot promise to change every third-party plugin. If the original developer did not provide a safe extension mechanism, direct edits may disappear after an update or interfere with other functions. We may instead recommend a separate plugin, a replacement, or another implementation. Building a custom plugin is estimated as a separate scope.
WooCommerce customization
WooCommerce can be adapted to the store catalog, sales rules, and internal processes. The exact scope is confirmed after reviewing the store, its extensions, and business rules.

Where the existing product allows it, we use child themes, hooks, filters, separate plugins, and documented extension mechanisms. We avoid editing WordPress core or original third-party files when the task has a safer implementation.
We create a backup before risky changes. Work that may affect the live website is implemented and checked on staging first.
This does not guarantee permanent compatibility with every future release. A theme, plugin, or external service may change its own architecture. Adaptation to later third-party changes is estimated separately.
