Google Analytics Setup for Websites
We set up GA4, Google Tag Manager, Search Console, and the actions you need to track, then verify that the data is coming through.
Installing the tracking code is only the start
An analytics platform can show visits, traffic sources, popular pages, and basic audience data. Page views alone do not tell you how many visitors submit a form, open a messenger, click a contact link, or place an order.
We connect the right tools, decide which actions matter, and set up tracking for them. The reports then contain data you can use to assess the website and its advertising, rather than traffic numbers with no business context.
Analytics tools we set up
Google Analytics 4
We create the property, connect the website, and configure the basic data collection. Events and key actions can be added when the project requires them.
Google Tag Manager
We use GTM to manage analytics tags, advertising tags, and events without adding a separate code snippet to the website for every tool.
Google Search Console
We connect the website, verify ownership, and check that Google can receive information about its pages and indexing.
What the analytics setup can include
The scope depends on the website and the data you need. One project may only need GA4 and Search Console. Another may need several platforms, separate events, and changes to the website.
Review existing tracking
Check which tags are installed and whether data is reaching the right accounts.
Create and configure accounts
Set up the required properties, containers, and access under the agreed owner accounts.
Connect Google Analytics 4
Install GA4 and configure the basic website data stream.
Set up Google Tag Manager
Add the container and use it for the tags and events included in the project.
Connect Search Console
Verify the website and connect Google's search and indexing data.
Configure basic settings
Check the core property and data collection settings for the website.
Set up goals and events
Track the actions agreed before work begins and mark the required conversions.
Install advertising tags
Add the required tags and conversion signals for advertising platforms.
Update the website
Add event handling or data transfer in WordPress or Next.js when the standard setup is not enough.
Test data collection
Trigger each agreed action and check that it reaches the correct analytics platform.
Actions you can track
Form submissions
Record a successful submission rather than counting every click on the submit button.
Messenger links
Track visits to Telegram, WhatsApp, and other messaging services.
Contact clicks
Count clicks on phone numbers and email addresses.
Important buttons
Create a separate event for a specific button or call to action.
File downloads
Track downloads of a price list, presentation, guide, or another document.
Ecommerce actions
Send product views, cart additions, checkout starts, and purchases when the store supports the required data.

How we set up website analytics
Review the website and the task
We check the current tags, the website setup, and the data you want to collect.
Agree on the scope
We select the platforms and actions to track, then confirm the price before setup begins.
Connect the platforms
We install the tracking code directly or through Google Tag Manager and update the website when required.
Configure events
We connect forms, contact links, downloads, purchases, and other agreed actions to analytics events.
Test the setup
We trigger the tags and events, then check that the correct data reaches the correct platform.
Hand over access and notes
We list what was connected, which events were configured, and where to view the data.
What you receive after setup
The agreed analytics platforms will be installed and tested on the website. Visits, traffic sources, and the selected actions will start appearing in their reports.
You receive access to the accounts and properties, working tracking code, the agreed set of goals and events, tested data collection, and a written summary of the setup.
Analytics cannot recreate data from before a platform was connected. Collection starts after the relevant tracking code is installed.
We can update the website as well as the analytics platform
Some goals can be created inside the analytics platform. Others require the website to send an event after a successful form submission, completed order, or another specific action.
We work with WordPress and Next.js, so we can update the form, page logic, or tracking code when the standard settings are not enough. You do not need to find a separate developer to add the event.
If the task requires a larger change, we first work out the implementation and estimate that development separately.
Website analytics setup questions
GA4 is the main option for international projects and works with Google Ads and other Google services. The final choice depends on your audience, advertising platforms, and reporting needs.
The standard version of Google Analytics is free. Extra costs only arise when the project needs a paid third-party platform or separate infrastructure.
No. A single analytics tag can be installed directly. GTM becomes useful when the website has several platforms, advertising tags, or separate events to manage.
Yes. We can check whether the correct tracking code is installed, whether data is arriving, and whether there is obvious duplication. A detailed audit of a large analytics implementation is estimated separately.
Yes. The preferred setup records a successful submission rather than every click on the submit button. The exact method depends on how the form works.
Yes, after reviewing the store. Product, cart, checkout, order value, and purchase data require a separate setup and may require changes to the website.
Yes. We can install the required tags and send the agreed conversions. The scope depends on the advertising platform and the website.
We may need access to the CMS or website code and to the relevant Google accounts. New properties should normally be created under client-owned accounts so the data remains under the client's control.
A change to a form, button, URL, or page logic can affect an event. Tracking should be tested again after a substantial website update.
Yes. If an agreed event or tracking tag works incorrectly because of our implementation, we will check and correct it.
