Next.js Support and Maintenance
We monitor the project, build pipeline, deployments, and connected services. We fix issues, implement improvements, and help the site keep evolving after launch.
Ongoing support for your Next.js project
We can join after launch or while the product is still evolving. Support works well when technical tasks, new features, or content changes keep appearing and the project needs someone who already understands its architecture.
We can take care of the site when there is no in-house developer, handle selected tasks for an internal team, or keep a stable project under observation between development cycles.
What Next.js support can include
The exact scope depends on the project architecture. Before work begins, we review the repository, deployment process, data sources, and connected services.
Uptime monitoring
We configure automated checks and alerts if the website stops responding.
Application errors
We connect to an existing error tracker or set one up and investigate where a problem starts.
Builds and deployments
We monitor failed builds and releases, review environment configuration, and help restore a working version.
APIs and external services
We check important API routes and integrations the website depends on.
Headless CMS and content updates
We check data delivery, webhooks, and whether published changes reach the website correctly.
Project dependencies
We watch for critical vulnerabilities and update packages when there is a practical reason to do so.
Bug fixes
We fix issues in the frontend, application logic, integrations, and project configuration.
Ongoing development
We build pages and components, connect services, and improve existing functionality.
The support scope depends on how the project is built
Two Next.js websites can require very different levels of oversight. We first map the components of the actual project and only then confirm the support scope.
Compact project
- Frontend and application code live in one repository
- A straightforward build and deployment process
- Few external data sources or integrations
- Support focuses on uptime, builds, and local fixes
Connected project
- A separate backend, database, or data source
- Headless CMS, webhooks, and content pipelines
- External APIs, CRM, payments, or other services
- Each component needs its own monitoring, access, and backup plan
Both are valid Next.js projects, but their support workload is different. We confirm the final scope and price after the initial review.
We follow the full path from repository to production
Repository and changes
We review the project structure and working process. Significant changes go through a separate branch.
Build and preview
We make sure the project builds and the change does not break the main flows. When available, we use a preview environment.
Deployment
We monitor the release result and check the production version after changes go live.
Application and APIs
We check the website and the important routes it uses to receive or send data.
CMS, data, and services
We account for components outside the repository that need separate monitoring or backups.
We do not update a working project without a reason
If the website is stable, we do not change dependencies simply because a new version exists. We first assess the reason for the update, its risks, and compatibility with the rest of the project.
When an update is necessary, we work outside the production version, verify the build, and release it only after the relevant checks. Rollback options depend on the infrastructure and are prepared in advance.
Next.js Care: keep the project under observation
Next.js Care
- Uptime monitoring
- Failed build and deployment alerts where the platform supports them
- Application error tracking
- Critical dependency vulnerability alerts
- Checks for important API routes
- Content update and webhook monitoring
- Initial diagnosis when an alert appears
- One-time setup: $300
- Fixes and development are billed separately
Technical support packages
10 hours
- Occasional fixes
- Small improvements
- Technical tasks during the month
20 hours
- Regular changes
- Integration work
- Ongoing development of existing features
40 hours
- Active development
- New pages and components
- Larger changes to the project
Support covers ongoing tasks; larger work is estimated separately
Bug fixes, new pages, components, and contained changes can use the prepaid support hours.
A major architecture rewrite, migration, standalone service, or large feature is estimated as a separate project. We define the scope, price, and expected result before that work starts.
By prior agreement, part of unused support time can carry over for 30 days. One package may also cover several projects after we review their condition. Hosting, domains, paid services, and licenses are billed separately.
How support begins
Project details and access
Send the website link, current tasks, and the access needed for review. The process can be handled in writing.
Technical review
We examine the repository, build, deployment, environment variables, data sources, and connected services.
Risks and priorities
We record what needs attention now and what should remain unchanged.
Monitoring setup
We connect the agreed checks and verify that alerts reach the right place.
Task queue
We create a clear backlog and work through it within the selected package.
We can support a project built by another team
We begin with a technical review of the repository, build and deployment process, APIs, data sources, and current project condition.
After the review, we can take the website into ongoing support, recommend a separate correction phase, or explain what needs to be stabilised first. We do not propose rewriting a working project without a clear reason.
We work with the infrastructure the project already uses
There is no mandatory hosting provider or deployment platform. We work with the client’s current infrastructure. If it is new to us, we first review its capabilities, limitations, and release process before confirming the monitoring and support scope.
Git stores source code and change history, but it is not a complete project backup. Databases, uploaded files, a CMS, and a separate backend need their own backup mechanisms.
Response times are agreed in advance
We respond to standard requests within one business day. Critical issues that stop the website or an important function receive priority during working hours.
A response time means that diagnosis starts and the next steps are communicated. Full recovery time depends on the cause, available access, and any third-party services involved.

Questions about Next.js support
Yes. We first review the repository, infrastructure, data sources, and current issues, then recommend a suitable support format.
No. We work with the platform the client already uses. If it is new to us, we review it before confirming the support scope.
Git stores source code and change history. Databases, files, a CMS, and a separate backend need their own backups.
No. A working project should not change without a reason. We update dependencies when security, compatibility, or a specific task requires it.
No. Next.js Care includes monitoring, alerts, and initial diagnosis. Fixes use support hours or receive a separate estimate.
Yes, by prior agreement. We first review the condition and infrastructure of each project.
Yes. We can take selected tasks, support the technical side, or cover work the internal team does not have time for.
Standard support operates during working hours. We respond to ordinary requests within one business day and prioritise critical issues during working hours.
Need support or further development for a Next.js project?
Send the website link and a short description of the current tasks. Mention any separate backend, CMS, or external integrations. That is enough to begin the review without a mandatory call.
