CASE STUDY · WORDPRESS AND SEO

A spa website shaped by search demand from the start

The project began with search planning and the client's real service range. We then designed the architecture, prepared a modular page system, developed the website without a separate design mockup, and gave every planned page a useful starting point.

PROJECT SCALE

A large service catalogue built as one system

The website supports a substantial range of services and page types. A shared structure and reusable components allow it to grow without rebuilding the project.

PROJECT START

We first defined which services genuinely belonged on the website

Before development, the business directions had to be clarified. Together with the client, we separated the services the company actually offered from irrelevant topics and matched them to search demand.

The structure therefore did not begin as a conventional menu. Every section had a clear role, and each planned page was tied to a real service direction and a distinct area of demand.

ARCHITECTURE

Search demand became a practical map for the website

The architecture connects the language people use, the services the business provides, and pages that can be developed progressively after launch.

  1. 1
    Collected queries

Found the language used across the main demand areas.

  2. 2
    Grouped by intent

Separated queries that represented different user needs.

  3. 3
    Checked the service scope

Removed directions the company did not offer.

  4. 4
    Planned the sections

    Built a clear service hierarchy.

  5. 5
    Assigned pages

Gave every page its own subject.

  6. 6
    Prepared for growth

Created a structure for launch and ongoing SEO.

PROCESS

The project moved from search planning to a live website and ongoing SEO

Search planning, architecture, development, and content were handled as parts of one connected process.

Stage 01

Mapped search demand

Defined the main demand areas and future topics.

Stage 02

Clarified the service range

Matched demand to the work the business actually provided.

Stage 03

Planned the architecture

Organised service directions and pages into a hierarchy.

Stage 04

Created reusable components

Prepared a system for different page types.

Stage 05

Built and populated the website

Developed the WordPress site and added useful starting content to the planned pages.

Stage 06 · now

Moved into ongoing SEO

After launch, priority pages began receiving deeper, sequential improvements.

VISUAL SYSTEM

There was no separate design mockup, but there was a design system

At the client's request, the website was developed without a preliminary Figma design. Visual decisions were tested directly on working pages, where real content, imagery, and component behaviour were already visible.

We defined recurring elements and usage rules so the site would remain consistent. A new service can reuse familiar components while retaining its own composition and page narrative.

This workflow is not suitable for every project. Here, it provided a direct route from architecture to a working website without pretending that a separate full design phase had taken place.

LAUNCH CONTENT

The planned pages did not launch as empty placeholders

Before publication, we created the pages in the agreed structure, assigned their initial component sets, and prepared a distinct starting description for each one.

This did not mean every page was already developed to its final depth. It did mean the search architecture existed as a usable website and visitors were not sent into empty sections awaiting future copy.

Priority pages can now be improved in sequence through deeper content, revised composition, and new material without rebuilding the platform.

The website launched with an architecture designed for continued development

The client received a working website in which search demand, service pages, and visual components share one structure. Content can be improved by priority without replacing the project foundation.

The modular system supports new service directions and continued improvements to existing pages after launch.
